We are planning a BALANCE update for the ARENA (Step 1 planned for March) 2020! We don't expect the balance to be perfect on the first try and therefore there will probably be more balance updates throughout the year based on the feedback and comments from the players. New cards won't be added to the game until the balance update has been done.
We want to make weak cards better so that there will be more strategies and interesting combos in battle decks. There should be more variation on what cards players choose to use. Some cards have been so weak they are pretty much useless. For these cards we plan to change the blast pattern and shorten the cooldown time. You can also get more bombs when you upgrade the card.
We know the Winged Wall and Force Field are over powered and therefore used by most players on the high levels. You basically have no choice because everyone else has the same cards too! We plan to make these two weaker. For example Winged Wall would no longer mean instant death. The player who is left under the wall would survive and he has a chance to escape. The Force Field will have a build time before it starts working and the Bunker Buster card will kill the player even through Force Field. If you are using these cards and you are now upset they are changed, think about would you rather be on a high Arena because you are a good player of just because you are using cards that are too powerful?
