    Here are some additional thing that can get added ->

    the wall bomb can disable one of ur card/item or that's just the emp bomb that gonna do that

    The blue bubble field doesn't need edit because there is too much rapid sneaky tricks

    The slimes to have bigger area and make some slimy blocks that divide like in campaign and 2 items

    The ice one to have bigger range and little stun like you got hit by a flying bomb on your head everytime you reach regular ground after slipping on ice and you get trapped inside a ice block until your block gets blasted and u can move again . 2 items

    Napalm to have bigger area

    the mines can get activated by pressing any time or can remove ground to leave just a hole in the area

    teleport faster

    Smoke bomb leaves a fog

    More vials and flash items

    we can also add a hologram clone illusion that may function as a lag and still visible and a red robot summon that kamikazes and auto explodes when touching you
    Also one that lets use 2 items twice in a row with a cooldown but maybe too easy

    and how about a map vote that let play random maps from arena in vs friends that is not more good to make maps desirable because we just have to go in the starting arena to enjoy them (like the one for summer cup that one was enjoyable for a long time) that would make the game more fun

    Some small balance changes about winning and losing medals in the Arena will be changed already in February when the Fantasy Land Season begins. The changes to the cards will take effect when the NEXT season starts in March.

    We will listen to comments and feedback about the changes and if needed we will make adjustments in the next update. Plan is so find a better balance and make playing fun for everyone!

      I've been playing for a long time and have a few thoughts.

      Firstly, I think the new dungeon run mode is alright but should be under the campaign tab, not on the arena tab. It is a solo game mode and anything solo should be in one tab and playable offline IMO.

      When I play campaign levels I get rewarded old rank points and gold bars. However, I can only see my rank points by participating in campaign matches and I don't know my progress to the next rank. I would like to be able to optionally(?) display this rank as some kind of cosmetic change in arena matches, which are currently treated as the default way to play Bomber Friends. I think this would also encourage more players to participate in the community matches.
      Being optionally displayable would mean new players wouldn't feel they had to do community matches to avoid displaying a low rank with their character as any player could choose to have their rank hidden.

      I think when the time runs out on arena matches, all remaining bombs on the field should rapidly detonate in the order they were played. There is currently no incentive to continue playing the last few seconds of the match and too often a clever, last minute trap is wasted and the game awards a tie when there could have been a clear winner.

      I have a bunch of gold bars I don't do anything with as there aren't any new levels. Perhaps it's already the case, though I've not seen it, but is possible that gold bars could be spent to continue a run of a level?

      I keep receiving cards for power ups that are at max level. Could these not be converted into coins or gems? Or perhaps one of the slots could be reserved for a random power up from your collection and these extra cards be spent to fix this "random" power up to one of your choice for N many matches?

      Regardless of the above point, a random power up slot would encourage players to diversify what cards they upgrade more. Additionally, or alternatively, perhaps random power ups per player or certain power ups for all players could be temporarily unusable in the arena, changing each season?

      Another way in which diversification could be encouraged could be some achievement reward per power up for completing a season without switching that slot. This could be simply a gold border for that power up, maybe an immediate free chest also?

      Some cards, modify their area of effect and there are strategic uses for cards at lower power levels. It would be nice to have the option of taking cards into the arena at any previously acquired power level of your choice. Perhaps also, we would not be restricted to 4 slots but some combined points total? So I could for example take one powerful card or two weak cards...

      Curse power ups could be improved by having the ability to toggle which curses are available for your bombs. This would allow you to specialise/ be prepared should you get caught in the radius of your own bomb. Perhaps, for you it's a strategic blessing? Perhaps you have to have 3 curses switched on as a minimum so players don't just select the worst one and give it a specific radius they can easily avoid. I would also consider each switched off curse to be an increase to that power up's point total for the purposes of the previous idea.

      Finally, here are some cards I would like to see:

      - X-ray: the temporary ability to see what power ups are hidden inside walls within a certain radius.

      - Decoy: a faint (and still bombable) version of the player remains in position whilst they control a decoy version of themselves that is able to move around but can't place bombs. After a certain amount of time, if either the decoy or the player is hit, or if the player taps the power button again: the decoy disintegrates.

      - Shield: a temporary defense that only blocks in the direction the player is facing. (If Force Field becomes a delayed power up, this would be a weaker alternative that players could use for a more immediate defensive power.)

      - Quantum tunnel: the player teleports through walls to the next open position in the direction they are facing. This could be used to escape traps, set up traps, or quickly get close to other players.

      - Pickpocket: the player steals a random ability, if available, from the next player they share a position with.

      - Friendly bomb: a bomb that won't hurt you. Perhaps exploding in all directions except yours if you are standing in line with it.

      - Defuser: the ability to pick up the next bomb you run over. Perhaps, if it is a special bomb type, it also becomes the next bomb you place or is added to your available power ups for that match.

        Hello! interesting ideas! Some of them are completely new - like the x-ray vision! The decoy player is something one of the senior developers brings up every now and then... so I am pretty sure something like this will be added to the game eventually. Senior developers have more power when making decisions. We'll just have to get this balance update done and see how it works out before we start to plan the new cards. The random card could be a thing in the Events, but probably not in the Arena mode. We try to keep it pretty simple and all the funny things we come up with end up in the events.

        Everything that is played offline can be hacked. If we wouldn't make 50% of the players angry we would make everything online to stop hackers. But the Single Player campaign has always been an offline mode and many play it honestly without internet connection. We just won't let the offline game mode interact with the secured online mode. For example all new rewards must be given online so the servers can check it. That is why the Dungeon run is a online mode - you can't get the rewards unless you play all the floors.

        I know I didn't comment on everything in your post but there was the thing about the rank not showing anywhere? There will be a rework on the player profile window. Some stats and info will be added there including the rank. But since we have more ideas than coders it will take a while before this rework is higher on the priority list. The rank itself is a bit useless. You can only gain rank and not lose it. Therefore it only tells you how long someone has been playing and not if they are any good. It is a relict from ancient pre-arena times.

        Keep those good ideas coming! When thinking about the matches and new possible cards, one thing to keep in mind is the lag. There is always some lag and usually it is hardly noticeable. But when players notice lag they always mistakenly think it is hacks. Therefore all new cards need to be something that can overcome the issues with lag and they need to work in a way that they are not easily mistaken as hacks.

      The quantum tunnel seem good but they may say it's like teleportation
      The decoy or clone was already thought as it would be an illusion
      x ray is also good but not going to be used alot
      there could also be anti commotion protect that have 50 percent chance of avoid the pink commotion bomb and avoid stun when you receive any flying bomb on the head
      shield would be like walkspeed it would be too easy to use
      and the converting to gem or coins is also nice

        We have thought about an "anti commotion" card that would be a passive card the same way Bless Generator is. It would make your stun time shorter etc.

        Not a balancing thing but it would also be great if we could somehow mark other players as allies or enemies. Maybe even reward a few extra points if you get revenge upon a player who killed you in a previous match?

          I had a couple more ideas regarding power ups. Some of the power ups offer fun strategic use only because their effects are immediate. Making them work after a delay dramatically reduces their usefulness to the point where they may become almost worthless. So...

          Charge slot: players have one charge slot above their power ups button or above the movement joystick (better symmetry and uses the same thumb as used for movement). By standing still and holding a press on this slot they can "charge" the current power up, whatever it is, putting it into this slot (if the slot isn't empty, whatever power up was there before is returned to the normal area). Other players can see some preview of what's being charged over that player's character, enabling them to prepare for it. Once charged, the player can use this slot to deploy a power up without a delay and/or be able to deploy a second power up immediately after another, creating unique combination potential (this latter part may be too strong??)...

          Along a similar line of thought, a new power up:
          Mind reading - a passive ability that allows a player to see the thought bubbles of other players as they switch between their available power ups.

            For the balancing row of bombs would be not released instantly but a lil bit slower
            the wall would only push any any place you are in it out of it when it blasted or just like in the campaign

            there could be also these new ones :
            one magnet bomb that attracts all the near by bombs and depending on the number of bombs it has caught the blast radius will be like a tnt or smaller
            one slime bomb that is hard to explode and would infect walls and work like a shield with walls
            there could also be one that summon lasers or trapdoors for some second
            and one known is kicking bombs

              Magnet bomb is a cool idea. I've been thinking about a map that has magnets on the walls. They turn on/off and pull the bombs towards them.

            Also maija u still did not tell about the maps stuff
            That would be more fun to play with a lot of maps with, which dont need money for example adding arenas for example tropical jungle in arena
            maybe there could be a pvp 1 v 1 that could map vote or random map choosing with any map wanted like beach or castle or robot or farm
            the arena just always displays a same map that why
            the vs friends has it but not any map

              We don't want to use the Arena tilesets (map themes) on VS Friends matches, because then it won't be so interesting and exciting to play on the Arena (because you've seen the tilesets so many times already). We use them in Events though. We have also been thinking about some kind of VIP room in VS Friends where some special tilesets could be used.

              That would not be all right for example :if u are a good player in arena you just get tired of the spooky hollow map , you would want to change the map and begin to not want the map and if you had a choice with the players to few map that would be like it's your favorite map so you choose it and players too maybe not in arena but like in minigames mode with few modes that have its map
              Maps dont make the arena most fun to play it's the devices or cards that make it more enjoyable
              How about some occasional big event like summer cup or the first event that were about the preview of arena that could last longer and has the same points system like in summer cup you could earn suns and get rewards but no season shit that was throught that even and there was even concussions and tnts

I'm also looking forward to see what happens when the cards change - will there be new strategies? Will some new card be over powered this time? We won't know until the changes are live!

              Force Field is pretty powerful. The change in the Force Field is not a big one. We'll just have to wait and see how it works in practice.

              You can have better strategies when you have multiple bombs. For example, what is the point of having one Fuseless Bomb? But if you have 2 or 3 you might come up with a strategy. We'll have some events in the next couple of seasons where players can use the newly balanced cards and we can see what happens. If something doesn't work we will make more changes.

            maybe some special minigames modes can be added with its exclusives maps and also add some thing like reversi while events it could be changing
            also you know that any games even fps, any genre of any game dont give a damn about the fact that players like more a map than another it would absolutely don't make them move forever to only one game mode, there is only some nostalgic players that mostly play the vs friends because they were used to it like it was iconic but do you think that the arena would not be played anymore because of the maps but because it's fun and also it's on the main screen how could u avoid it if arena is annoying it's because of the teaming in high arenas and the over use of row of bomb and things like it
            For this balance thing there could be like row of bombs would be like throwing a flying bomb but the way if a fish net and it takes short time to land so there is still chances and the ice bomb could make the bombs dropped on ice kickable once
            Also for example for maps, the tropical map is just temporary that means that if u finish the quest u dont use it anymore u could make it as for a 1v1 mode only with some maps like this

              Yep, I know the Spooky Hollow can get pretty boring after a while. Changing tile sets is on the todo-list but, it is not very high in the priority. At the moment there are so many things that are either serious bugs or things that affect a larger number of players. I keep a list about things that are requested by players and I make sure the developers know they have no time to rest - because the list is long!

            For example it works like black ops nuketown is a good map there is no restrictions about the maps
            for the balancing thing that's a good thing but for example if the player use row of bombs against you and you try to use the blue field it would be already blasting before the field builds itself knowing that even the field used at the last moment even if the field is working it just doesn't protect the player even if the player used the shield and this is not a connection lag but a bug
            if even you get blocked at least once throught bombs the match is just finished
            if a card was left away it was because it was not exciting to use and was not a good thing to help kill the players it's the same for maps for example there could be an long event like summer cup where there is arena points to earn and only few cards items are hidden in tiles some stuff like it that would not replace arena because that would be temporary in the month
            another example: for about a team reversi wall vs bomb mini game mode only wall card would be used does that mean that the arena mode would be left no because the game mode or gameplay is different it's not about the map but in fact the map you play on makes good and also when it constantly changes to another one that makes an enjoyable gameplay that's even why hackers move to modded versions
